Tokyo police have arrested a 33-year-old man from Sapporo on suspicion of defrauding a woman several times using a mobile payment service, according to investigative sources.
The Metropolitan Police Department¡¯s cybercrime division is?investigating the case under the suspicion?it may involve?³Ù´Ç°ì³Ü°ù²â¨±, or anonymous and elusive quasi-gangster groups.
The sources said suspect Masanobu Kimura allegedly conspired with others and sent an email on Aug. 14 to the woman, who had placed an order for an item on an online shopping site, saying it was out of stock and that she would get a refund.
