Japanese pop star Taichi Kokubun apologizes for compliance violation
It was the former Tokio member＊s first public appearance since his removal from Nippon TV＊s popular variety show ※The Tetsuwan Dash§ in June.

How the Japanese TV industry is changing
After a series of major scandals in recent years, Japan＊s TV industry appears to be growing more sensitive to issues of harassment and misconduct.
In a statement on their official website, Tokio said it had decided to disband following a compliance violation by Taichi Kokubun, without providing details as to what the violation entailed.
