Coast guard ships from Japan and China face off near Senkaku Islands
Japan*s coast guard said it expelled two Chinese ships as they approached a Japanese fishing vessel sailing in the area of the Senkaku Islands.
Four Chinese coast guard vessels sailed in Japanese territorial waters off the Senkaku Islands in Ishigaki, Okinawa Prefecture, on Thursday, marking the first intrusion by Chinese government ships into the area since April 28.
