Tarvisio, Italy ¨C Italy¡¯s Nicol Delago won her first World Cup race on Saturday with victory in the Tarvisio downhill, as Lindsey Vonn claimed another podium with the Winter Olympics homing into view.
Before Saturday, Delago had only five World Cup podiums to her name, but she clocked a time of 1 minute and 46.28 seconds on home snow to finish 0.20 seconds ahead of Germany¡¯s Kira Weidle-Winklemann.
