The newly promoted ¨³ú±ð°ì¾± has not only gotten off to a fast start, but, with both yokozuna looking shaky, may also be set to improve on what has already been an incredible first year in the top division.
On day one of the New Year Basho, Aonishiki handled Ura with little fuss. The victory was notable because, while Ura¡¯s record may not reflect it, the veteran has been performing at a high level recently.
