In a video posted to his TikTok channel in late April, several days before this year¡¯s Kentucky Derby, Griffin Johnson can be seen helping wash Sandman, a horse being prepped to run in the race. Johnson rubs a sponge dripping with soap and water across the gray colt and later helps dry the horse with a sweat scraper.
The post has attracted over 300,000 likes and over 1,000 comments.
