His post-op return to team headquarters is only days away.
Rick Burkholder, the Chiefs¡¯ vice president of sports medicine and performance, and Mahomes are scheduled for their first rehab session on Friday, four days after the quarterback had surgery on the ACL and LCL in his left knee on Monday night in Dallas. Mahomes was formally placed on injured reserve on Wednesday.
