Sharpshooter Naoya Kumagae delivered a crowd-pleasing 21-point performance, making 5 of 8 3-point attempts for the hosts, and teammate Keith Benson notched a double-double with 21 points on 10-for-14 shooting and 11 rebounds.
The Evessa, winners of two straight, outscored Niigata 62-36 in the first and fourth quarters.
