The Aisin SeaHorses took advantage of their deep roster and had five players scoring in double digits in a 84-74 win over the Hitachi Sunrockers at Ota City Gymnasium on Sunday.

Aisin¡¯s rookie guard Makoto Hiejima led the team with 20 points, followed by Kosuke Kanamaru and Shinsuke Kashiwagi, both of whom racked up 16 points.

¡°I think we played our brand of ball, which is play defense first and then convert it for our offense, in these two days,¡± said Kashiwagi, the veteran starting point guard for the SeaHorses. ¡°So I¡¯m pleased about how we played.¡±

For the Sunrockers (10-24), Darius Rice had 28 points and 10 rebounds. Joji Takeuchi also notched a double-double with 18 points and 11 boards.
