It¡¯s the manly thing to say if you have just punched somebody, and he looks like he¡¯s thinking of hitting you back.
Francis has recently expressed the view that ¡°if anyone says a curse word against my mother, he can expect a punch.¡± So he should be ready for some retaliation, and saying that in Latin might deter the victim from hitting the supreme pontiff back.
