Ukraine may be looking to Japan for help building Patriot air-defense missiles, after U.S. President Donald Trump indicated that Washington would give Kyiv a license to manufacture the advanced weapons.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this week that his country is interested in working with Japan¡¯s Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, which is one of the few companies to hold a license to manufacture the Patriot missiles.
Ukraine is in dire need of the weapons to defend against Russia¡¯s ongoing missile onslaught.
