Teachers are struggling to cope with students who refuse to go to school, leading to an increase in their workload?¡ª and they¡¯re not exactly sure how to face the challenges.
At a recent?study session held at?an elementary school in Miyagi Prefecture, teachers were discussing how to communicate with such children and encourage them to get out of the house.
One young teacher said,?¡°I take the approach of saying things like, ¡®Do you want to walk up to that utility pole today?¡¯ and ¡®How about coming to the school gate the next day?¡¯¡±
