The Koriyama Municipal Government hopes to prompt dog owners to voluntarily pick up dog feces and raise awareness of manners.
Authorities chose three locations in the city to try out the initiative ¡ª Koriyama Station, the main entrance to the city; Kaiseizan Park; and areas including Sakura-dori Avenue, the 21st Century Memorial Park and Hayama Park where many people are seen walking their dogs.
