The transport ministry conducted an emergency on-site inspection of Japan Airlines＊ facilities on Friday morning, following a series of incidents involving the company＊s aircraft over the past seven months.
The probe, conducted under the aviation law, targeted daily operations pertaining to flight operations and safety management at company facilities near Tokyo＊s Haneda Airport, including JAL＊s safety promotion headquarters. The inspection follows another emergency probe of the company in February.
