Johnny & Associates announced Wednesday that it will not claim management fees for advertisements and television appearances by the talent agency＊s performers for a year, as part of efforts to take responsibility in the wake of allegations of sexual abuse made against the company＊s late founder, Johnny Kitagawa.
※The root causes of the issues that have caused everyone inconvenience lie in the late Johnny Kitagawa 〞 the perpetrator 〞 and our company＊s system,§ the agency said on its website.
※We will not receive any compensation as an entertainment company,§ it said, adding that all fees it receives will go to the performers.
