North Korean leader Kim Jong Un met Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday at the Vostochny Cosmodrome in Russia¡¯s far east, with the the two holding ¡°negotiations¡± ¡ª including one-on-one talks ¡ª as Putin hinted at offering Pyongyang help in its quest to build spy satellites.

After shaking hands upon Kim¡¯s arrival by train, Putin escorted the North Korean leader on a tour of the spaceport near Russia¡¯s border with China ¡ª a conspicuous choice considering Pyongyang¡¯s two failed attempts to put a reconnaissance satellite into low-Earth orbit earlier this year.

Kim¡¯s visit included a close-up look at an assembly plant for Moscow¡¯s advanced Angara and Soyuz-2 space launch vehicles, Russian news agencies reported.
