In October, American studio Sucker Punch¡¯s Ghost of Yotei continued the successful formula of its predecessor, Ghost of Tsushima, by expanding its samurai-forward blend of action-adventure into the northern island of Hokkaido. In March, Ubisoft Quebec finally acquiesced to long-held fan requests and brought the Assassin¡¯s Creed series to Japan. Even Japan-based developers of games set elsewhere couldn¡¯t seem to resist: The Silent Hill horror series has traditionally been set in small-town America, but Konami and Taiwan-based NeoBards brought the series to rural 1960s Japan for the first time in September¡¯s Silent Hill f.
