Chiba ¨C Tokyo Game Show (TGS), Japan¡¯s premier gaming trade fair, is back this year ¡ª and bigger than ever.
Held in Chiba¡¯s Makuhari Messe convention center from Sept. 25 to 28, TGS¡¯ exhibitors total 1,136 companies, of which 615 hail from overseas. Booths on the exhibition floor number 4,157, far exceeding last year¡¯s total of 3,252. Walking into the exhibition hall, the scale is palpable.
After its return to TGS in 2024 following a five-year hiatus, PlayStation is back again with a futuristic booth showcasing 14 playable titles. The largest demo area is devoted to the star of Sony¡¯s show: , the standalone sequel to 2020¡¯s samurai adventure epic Ghost of Tsushima.
