The Aug. 26 post was coupled with the song “,” from Swift’s 2024 album, “The Tortured Poets Department.” The track saw following the announcement, with lyrics that go: あなたを見つめるたびに高校生に戻ったみたい (Anata o mitsumeru tabi ni 办ō办ōsei ni modotta mitai, I feel so high school every time I look at you). High school literally means 高校 (办ō办ō), but here, she captures the sentiment of 高校生 (办ō办ōsei, high schoolers) and 学生時代 (gakusei jidai, student days).
