A woman and her parents were sent to prosecutors Wednesday, facing charges in connection with the alleged murder of a man discovered headless in a Sapporo ¡°love hotel¡± last month.
Runa Tamura, 29, her 59-year-old psychiatrist father Osamu and 60-year-old mother Hiroko, were issued a fresh warrant on Monday, accusing them of the murder of Hitoshi Ura, 62, whose decapitated body was found naked in a hotel within the downtown Susukino district on July 2.
An autopsy revealed that Ura¡¯s cause of death was hemorrhagic shock due to blood loss. The investigation led authorities to suspect that Runa Tamura inflicted multiple knife wounds near the victim¡¯s neck, including a deep laceration nearly reaching the lung.
