M-Sys, the Sendai-based operator of nine Yakiton Daikoku izakaya (Japanese-style pubs) and three Ganso Sendai Hitokuchi Gyoza Azuma restaurants, has opened one location after another in the city¡¯s prime locations while most others in the industry suffered during the COVID-19 pandemic.
To meet its aggressive immediate goal of having 25 stores by the spring of 2026, the firm is putting forward a personnel strategy centered on a policy of offering monthly wages of ?300,000 to new hires.
In M-Sys¡¯ restaurants, handwritten recruitment flyers are posted everywhere along with posters showing recommended foods. The flyers are adorned with phrases like, ¡°The starting salary is ?300,000 with or without experience,¡± ¡°?400,000 for managers,¡± and ¡°Please feel free to ask our staff.¡±
