From 2015 to 2018, Wang worked in TV as a writer, executive story editor and actor for the hit comedy show ¡°Fresh Off The Boat,¡± which was a refreshingly honest and much welcome portrayal of the life of Asian immigrants in the United States. He then rose to prominence as a comic following ¡°Sweet and Juicy,¡± his first hourlong Netflix special directed by Ali Wong and released in 2022. The special introduced him to a global audience who resonated with his observations of everyday life ¡ª from just how much work juicing involves to the problem of reaching the bottom of your lotion bottle.
