Pop singer Kaela Kimura¡¯s ¡°Butterfly¡± has topped Oricon¡¯s top 10 list of the most popular wedding songs of 2016.
The Tokyo native¡¯s 2009 smash hit beat singer-songwriter Masaharu Fukuyama¡¯s ¡°Kazoku ni Narou Yo¡± (¡°Let¡¯s Become a Family¡°) and Superfly¡¯s ¡°Ai wo Komete Hanataba wo¡± (¡°Flowers with Love¡°) for the top spot.
Also included in the list were ¡°Arigatou¡± (¡°Thank you¡°) by Ikimono Gakari, ¡°Baby I Love You¡± by Che¡¯Nelle, ¡°Happiness¡± by Arashi, ¡°Story¡± by Ai, ¡°365 Days¡± by Mr. Children, ¡°Kiseki¡± (¡°Miracle¡°) by GReeeeN and a Japanese version of ¡°Let It Go¡± from the movie ¡°Frozen¡± that is sung by Takako Matsu.
Based on current popularity, Oricon expects singer-songwriter Daigo¡¯s ¡°KSK,¡± a song dedicated to his new wife, actress Keiko Kitagawa, to top the chart in the future.
