This is the fourth edition of Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum¡¯s series of annual exhibitions showcasing Japan¡¯s contemporary artists. As a group show to support up-and-coming artists, five exhibitions ¡ª ¡°You Can See it (But You Can¡¯t Feel it),¡± ¡°Is it possible: Tohoku-Ga? Museum for Hypothetical State of Tohoku,¡± ¡°JIS is it: Invisible Standards,¡± ¡°Sensuous Structures¡± and ¡°Sensou-Ga Studies¡± ¡ª are being held concurrently.
Of particular note is ¡°Sensuous Structures,¡± by the art group Creo, whose huge installations and sculptures include Yuji Ichikawa¡¯s impressive 12-meter-wide ¡°World Tree I.¡±
