The Tokushima Modern Art Museum is showcasing 64 paintings from the Tokyo Fuji Art Museum collection, which have been chosen to summarize the 300-year history of Western art.

Covering five important eras ¡ª the golden age of baroque paintings, the court culture of rococo, neoclassicism to romanticism, Barbizon school works to impressionism, and post 20th-century contemporary art ¡ª the selection includes the works of Anthony van Dyck (1599-1641), Jean-Baptiste Camille Corot (1796-1875), Pierre-Auguste Renoir (1841-1919) Claude Monet (1840-1926) and Moise Kisling (1891-1953).
