This is the 13th of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo¡¯s annual exhibitions that showcase young Japanese artists and new trends in contemporary art.

This year, six artists and artist groups have created works that fall under the theme of ¡°fragments.¡± Their interpretations of ¡°fragments¡± ¡ª whether it comprises parts of their surroundings, bits of objects, partial images or glimpses of experiences ¡ª are used to create pieces that in their own incompleteness prompt the viewer¡¯s imagination.

With so many possible fragments in life and endless ways to combine them, this exhibition invites visitors to see the world from a new point of view; Feb. 15-May 11.
